1. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral

If you love Geology this museum must be a mandatory stop in your journey. It has one of the largest minerals collection in the world.
5. Socialist Art Museum
This museum has two important pieces of bulgarian socialist art: The big red star that was located on the Socialist Party Building and the giant Vladimir Lenin statue that was located on the Independence Square.
6. National Art Gallery
The city posses many art galleries, but only one is located in the former Royal Palace. Their collection has over 5000 pieces of bulgarian art. It’s an excellent option to learn the identity of this country through the art during its history.
7.Alexander Nevsky Antiques Market
This informal market, is located near the cathedral. Here you can find unique souvenirs made for local artisan and unique antiques.
8. Boulevard Vitosha
It’s one of the main streets in Sofia and largest pedestrian boulevard in the whole city. It posses a lot of coffee shops and restaurants. A great option to have a pleasant afternoon.
9. Arena di Serdica
At Sofia is quite common that every time a new construction begins they will find ruins of the ancient roman empire. This happens during the construction of the Arena di Serdica, where they find a roman arena. Visitors can observe this ancient constructions preserved under plexiglass.
10. Ivan Vazov National Theathre
This beautiful building is one the jewels of the city. It decoration is something unique both in Bulgary as in Europe. Despite a rebuild after the World War II retains it’s looks its original integrity.
